Commissions update!
Right now, I'm finishing up art that was ordered last July. I don't have any excuse, really, just failing to manage my time. Your stuff IS on the way! (And my art is BETTER than it was last summer!)
I do have one request. After the recent troubles between Gary Friedrich and Marvel Comics over the ownership of Ghost Rider, I have pledged to no longer take commissions of Marvel and Disney characters. I will honor existing orders, but if you've ordered a Marvel or Disney character, I'd like to ask for an alternate if you have one.

American Avenger Movie EXTRA! —
I'm going to add an extra perk of my own to the fundraising list at THE MOVIE site.
Here goes:
Everybody who contributes at the $37 level or above will get a pencil drawing from me, any Ultra Fem or League of Amazing Women character of your choice. This is PENCIL ON PAPER, which I never do anymore! Deliverable with your DVD when it's released in the fall.

MegaCon —
I drove over to Orlando to see some friends at MegaCon yesterday. I only stayed for a few hours on the first day of the con, but I saw plenty! Here's some of it.
Artists' Alley was HUGE! The biggest I've seen. There were SO MANY great artists there! I saw stuff at every table I wanted to buy! But I only got a handful of prints and books.

LIVE ART Marathon Weekend! —
Starting tomorrow (Saturday the 11th) I will be spending as much of the weekend as I can streaming live commissions. All money will go to Gary Friedrich.
No fixed prices. Donate what you can, and I'll do a drawing to fit that amount. Sketch, line drawing, full color, whatever. Single characters only.
Watch for an announcement of the live link!

Looking over my commission list, I'm surprised at how few involve Marvel characters. Or even Disney. Almost ALL of my paid commissions are for YOUR OCs. That's awesome!

Okay, I've got a lot of writing to do, but here's what I'm doing in a nut-shell. From now on, I am refusing any and all commissions for Marvel/Disney characters. It's not just a matter of supporting Gary Friedrich, it's a matter of self-defense. Marvel has gone much further than throwing out Gary's authorship of Ghost Rider. They have claimed his profits from convention drawings and barred him from making any claims of creatorship or even MENTIONING Ghost Rider. This is more than a defeat of one guy. It's a warning shot aimed at ALL OF US. Marvel has made it clear that we are all not only fair game, WE ARE ACTIVE TARGETS.
I hope other artists will join me.

Erin Esurance in BDSM Trouble! —
As if there isn't enough Esurance porn out there already! I drew this yesterday during my 9-hour live drawing marathon. One of my customers requested her, and I went all BDSM on her. I didn't plan it. It just kind of happened! What fun!
I also drew Elvira, Night Mistress, and my first ever Princess Zelda! You should'a been there!
The marathon was a huge success. I drew for 9 hours, with only a few short breaks, and I completed 9 drawings from scratch. All the work I've done on speed-drawing over the years has paid off. I did most of the 9 drawings in 40 minutes or so, and I didn't have to strain myself.
The marathon was VERY well-attended, too! There were almost 30 people in there at one point, and over the course of the day, more than 70 people came and went. I've been using a streaming service called Join.Me, and it's MUCH easier and friendlier than LiveStream. (It's NOT free, though!)
