Ultra Fem Five playlists! —

I spent a stupid amount of time over the weekend putting together live playlists for my main characters. I've always had "favorite music" lists in mind for my girls because I think it's a very effective way to give personality to a character. I tried creating radio widgets in the past, but it didn't work for one reason or another.

THIS TIME, though, I found a service called PlayList.com that works really well!

Glenn Beck publicly shamed —

I liked this story so much, I wanted to pass it along.

   Fox News personality Glenn Beck has lost a battle for a Web domain which jokingly asked whether he raped and murdered a young girl in 1990.

   Isaac Eiland-Hall, the satirist behind glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com, thanked the pundit for his "assistance" in helping spread the rhetorical meme. Beck had filed a dispute with the World Intellectual Property Organization to gain control of the domain.
   Following his victory, the Web site's creator voluntarily turned the domain over to Beck and published an open letter publicly shaming the host for assaulting the First Amendment.

A groovy artist named SqueedgeMonster over at FurAffinity made this AWESOME HOT drawing of my 'hideous kinky' alien! (Yes, I think I'll adopt that dumb movie title.) I let her pick which UF character she wanted to draw, and somehow I knew she'd go for the Martian! And she got it exactly right! It even has that aged-dime-novel-texture and strangely-colored-abstract-watercolor look to it, just like a real Edgar Rice Burroughs book! I love it!
